I don’t want to be a coach. What other ways can I learn mBIT?

The mBIT Coach Certification isn’t only for people who want to use it in 1-2-1 coaching sessions with clients. These certifictions are attended by people in many areas of life and society; some people do it for their own personal development, others work in leadership positions, and some work with clients on a 1-2-1 basis in fields like psychology, psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, gestalt therapy, massage and other body work. If the coach certification isn’t for you, there are mBIT Trainers around the world who offer 2-day personal development courses as well as 2-day leadership courses, all centered around the mBraining techniques and how they can be applied to our lives. Check out the Events listings to see the next courses near you, or reach out to mBIT Trainers in your area for an in-house course.

Do I need to do assignments, or proof of a number of sessions, to certify as a coach?

No, in the mBIT community we don’t operate with these types of criteria because the group of people taking our certification programs are so diverse. After the intensive 4-day course, and after passing the certification exercise at the end, delegates are certified mBIT coaches and receive a diploma. Depending on how they intend to use their new mBIT toolbox, it is up to each individual to judge what type of post-certification work is appropriate for them and their professional use of the techniques.

Do I need to have an NLP qualification to understand and apply mBraining and mBIT coaching?

No, although mBraining is for many a great supplement to NLP, mBIT coaching is a set of standalone techniques which don’t require NLP knowledge to learn and use. We have many professional groups in our community and NLP professionals are one of them. We also have groups of psychologists and psychotherapists, people certified in traditional coaching methods, and professionals working with various types of body work.

If I have a medical issue related to my heart or my gut, can I still take the mBIT coach certification?

This is ultimately a question for your doctor and we would always advise that you speak to them and explain what the course is before making that judgment. Your local mBIT Trainer will be able to provide you with all information you need to pass on to your doctor to make a decision on what is safe for you.

Do I need to have a medical background to understand the science behind mBraining?

No, although mBraining is informed by several medical fields, the focus and aim of the 4-day mBIT coach certification is to learn practical mBIT coaching techniques and how to use them in a 1-2-1 coaching session. The course gives you a basic understanding of the science underpinning the development of mBraining but you don’t need a scientific background to use mBIT coaching techniques in work with clients.

How much can a qualified mBIT coach expect to earn per session?

mBIT coaching is used on all continents of the world, in societies with vastly different socioeconomic structures. As a result, this is a question that isn’t possible to answer on a general level. Is mBraining similar to NLP?

mBraining is informed by NLP, in the same way as it is informed by many other fields. With that said, there are important parallels between the fields and many NLP professionals see mBraining as a natural supplement to their NLP toolbox.

mBraining specialises in aligning the intelligence of the head, heart and gut. These types of internal conflicts manifest themselves in vastly different walks of life; from career coaching, organizational leadership, personal development and so many more. mBIT coaching is especially powerful in reaching alignment in a gentle but profound way when working through these.
